Grew up among the wheat fields of Kansas and now resides among the mountain of Colorado. His love of books started when he got a special library card to the adult section giving him access to classics such as Lord of the Rings, The Odyssey, and the Riddle Master of Hed. The love of the story continued as the movies of the '80s inspired him to start writing. In high school, he aspired to write a book. With the completion of The Monastery, that dream has come true.
